This is a table of mileposts for the revised US66 alignment as it was in 1939 after the first major changes to the original US66 routing of 1926. The most important differences between both versions are:
1) Glenarm - Divernon - Litchfield Bypass of SR4 (IL)
2) Realignment between Granite City (IL) and Gray Summit (MO)
3) Elimination of the Santa Fe Loop (NM)
4) Opening of the Querino Canyon Bridge (AZ)
5) Bypass of Goffs Rd (A)
6) Westbound Extension to Santa Monica (CA)
... plus minor improvements & repairs all along the way
You won't be able to drive it thru, but you can reach almost every part of the road somehow. Sometimes it's necessary to use later or even earlier alignments. Please refer to the atlas slides and other available literature.
